Hi! I’m Betsy…

I cannot remember a time in my life where I was not holding a crayon, a pencil or a paintbrush in my hand.  The smell of a box of crayons still makes me smile.

I have had many roles in the last 25 years, from landscape architect to respite ministry director to mother of two wonderful daughters, but have found myself returning to what I originally loved in my youth – painting.

Typically, you can find me looking up at blue skies and billowing clouds to paint. However, a ripe pear or glowing sunflower can also grab my attention.  Primarily painting with acrylic, I am exploring this glorious world, one painting at a time. There is tremendous beauty in the small.  Being able to see and celebrate overlooked details is a gift for which I am so thankful.  There is beauty everywhere if you just take a moment to truly look.  I hope you enjoy my work.  Thank you so supporting me on this adventure!
